Recently we had a client from Palmerton, PA, contact us to complete a full detail on their 2014 Ford Edge. We were happy to set up an appointment for the job. When the vehicle arrived at Krebs Auto Detailing, we inspected it and reviewed our services with the owner of the vehicle. In this case, the vehicle would receive a Full Detail Package, with polymer sealant upgrade and leather cleaning and conditioning. The services would require the vehicle to be in the shop for a full day.
The process on this vehicle began with a thorough wash, including degreasing the door jambs and wheel wells. After being washed, the vehicle received a clay bar decontamination treatment to remove contaminants that had bonded to the paint. Once the contaminants were removed and the paint was smooth, we installed the polymer sealant.
The interior portion of the Full Detail Package began by vacuuming the vehicle. Then we cleaned all of the hard surfaces, leaving them looking new again. Next, we cleaned the glass with a streak-free glass cleaner and high-quality microfiber glass rags.
The last steps included cleaning and conditioning the leather seats and placing disposable floormats on the driver’s and passenger’s floor. The Full Detail Package wraps up by cleaning the wheels, applying no-sling tire gel and restoring any faded black plastics.
Once the vehicle was done, we contacted the client to say the vehicle was ready and could be picked up. Before releasing the vehicle, we completed a thorough walk-around with the client to make sure they were fully satisfied with the work performed on their vehicle. We also took the time to discuss best practices for aftercare.
Krebs Auto Detailing also carries a variety of high-quality care supplies used in our shop that the client may purchase to care for the vehicle until the next detail.
Sundays are by appointment only.
